Community Partner Advisory Council

The WorkSource Community Partner Advisory Council meets to provide insight, advice and feedback for our career centers and workforce system. We invite established nonprofit, education, faith-based and community organizations that serve significant constituencies in our region. Members help us by keeping us up to date on economic and employment challenges faced by the clients they serve.

 

2012 COMMUNITY PARTNER ADVISORY MEETING DATES AND LOCATIONS

  • January 18, 2012 (Wednesday) – 2 p.m. – Location:  WorkSource, 215 N. Market Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202 (2nd Floor Training Room)
  • June 20, 2012 (Wednesday) – 2 p.m. – Location:  TBD (Host agency, and if none, then at Market Street, 2nd floor training room)
  • December 19, 2012 (Wednesday) – 2 p.m. (This may be changed to January 2013, as in previous year)– TBD (Host agency, and if none, then at Market Street, 2nd floor training room)

Business PARTNER Advisory Council

The WorkSource Business Partner Advisory Council gives us input from local companies on training and hiring needs. Our business partners include representatives from health care, retail, information technology, banking and finance, logistics and transportation, the staffing industry, and business organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
