Mayor's Summer Jobs Program
From April 6th to April 10th, we received over 400 applications for the Mayor's Summer Jobs Program.
The program has spaces for 185 students and because we have received more than double the amount of applications, we had to close down the application process earlier than expected.
If you applied prior to 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 10th, your application will be considered and you will hear from us shortly.

Funded by The Jacksonville Journey, the Mayor's Summer Jobs Program provides the opportunity for 185 Duval County students, ages 16-21 to earn valuable experience working in various facets of city government for five, 20-hour weeks, plus one week of training beginning Monday June 18th and ending Friday, July 27th.
Program Eligibility Requirements:

Youth ages 16-21who have a desire to make a difference in their community and want to gain valuable job skills.

Must live in Zone 1 - one of the following zip codes: 32202, 32204, 32206, 32208, 32209, 32254

Must be attending school (high school, college, or trade school

Must have a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher

Must have no more than 4 unexcused absences

Must pass drug test
