Florida is home to 1.9 million veterans and has the fastest growing veterans population in the nation. Coordinated by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, “Hire a Vet” is designed to remind employers of the unmatched economic resource that veterans offer.

Veterans have the training, work ethic, and proven skills that will immediately add value to your business. Equally important, you'll be contributing to America's global competitiveness and the strength of our economic base.

WorkSource would like to help you connect to and recruit veterans. We have eight Career Services Centers that offer a wealth of resources including specialized Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVERs) and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) staff that can provide veteran applicant referrals specific to your need.
